School Uniform
Wearing school uniform gives our children a pride in their appearance and in the school. School uniform also gives individual identity on our educational visits.
We try to keep our uniform as simple as possible. Polo shirts, sweatshirts and cardigans embroidered with the school logo are available from MAPAC Ltd (link below). They also supply many other uniform items as well as selling our PE bags and book bags. As this is an online company, we keep sweatshirts and polo shirts, in various sizes, in the school office so you can try them on before ordering.
If you would prefer to buy items elsewhere, you can purchase the school logo badge from the office at a cost of £1.00 per logo. If you decide to take this option, please check the MAPAC website first for the correct colours, styles and positioning of logo badges.
The PTA organise regular second-hand uniform sales; the dates and times for the sales are advertised on our school newsletter.

Classes R, 1 and 2 Uniform
WINTER UNIFORM
Girls: Grey skirt, pinafore dress or trousers, white polo shirt with school logo, royal blue cardigan with school logo, white or grey socks and black shoes.
Boys: Grey trousers, white polo shirt with school logo, royal blue sweatshirt with school logo, grey socks and
black shoes.
Boys & Girls: Black shoes should be of a sensible design. Trainers are not suitable for school wear. Shoes that fasten
with Velcro rather than laces are easier for younger children to manage.
SUMMER UNIFORM
Girls: Royal blue and white checked or striped dress or smart grey shorts.
Boys: Grey short trousers can be worn, along with a white polo shirt with school logo.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION KIT
Boys & Girls: Royal blue shorts, yellow polo shirt with school logo, black plimsolls (for indoor PE)
and trainers (for outdoor PE).
Blue jogging trousers can be used for games lessons during the winter.
OUTDOOR WEAR
Boys & Girls: Pupils in Class R require a pair of Wellington boots to be kept at school for
outdoor lessons and play.

SUMMER UNIFORM
Girls: Royal blue and white checked or striped dress or smart grey shorts and short sleeved shirt.
Boys: Grey shorts can be worn, along with a short sleeved white shirt.
In the hot weather we do not expect children to wear a tie.

It is very important that all items of clothing are clearly marked with the child’s name. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property of pupils. We have a lost property box, but it is much easier to return garments when they are named.
