We tend to be extremely busy between 8.45am - 9.30am and then again between 3.15pm - 3.45pm. Unless your call is urgent, it would be very helpful if you could avoid ringing the office at these time.
Please contact us as soon as you can if your child is unwell and unable to attend school. We will ask you what is wrong with your child e.g. high temperature, sore throat, tummy upset etc. as we are asked by the Department of Education to record this information. Below you will find a helpful link to the NHS regarding childhood illness and absence. You may like to refer to this when deciding whether or not to send your child to school.
If you want to take your child out of school for any other reason, please put your reasons in writing to the Headteacher.
Please send any money to school in a clearly labelled and sealed envelope. We are no longer able to accept cash or cheques for school dinners. Payments should be made online to Principal Catering Ltd and all other cheques payable to Sheldwich Primary School.
