Sending Letters to the Amazon Rainforest!
In Term 5, we learned all about Rainforests, and we had an inspirational visit from Mrs Burrell who came in to tell us all about her visits to the Amazon Rainforest in Peru. She very kindly showed us photos, videos and artefacts from the various schools she had visited. This week we wrote letters to some of the children that Mrs Burrell is visiting once again, and she will be delivering the letters for us. The class were disappointed that we couldn't visit the Amazon Rainforest ourselves, but are very excited that our letters are travelling around the world!

Happy Mother's Day!
Mad about Dinosaurs!
As an introduction to our new topic, we learned the poem 'Mad about Dinosaurs!' in small groups, then performed individual verses to the rest of the class. It was great to see how much the children's confidence has grown when performing and how well they work together in their groups. What a wonderful start to Term 3!
